Headquarters: Europe (DK)
URL: https://secureprivacy.ai
Secure Privacy is expanding, and we're looking for a forward-thinking QA Engineer with expertise in Playwright, test automation, and AI-powered testing workflows to join our team! You'll work remotely (40 hrs/week) with our engineering and product teams, using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to build a world-class QA function for our Consent Management Platform and privacy governance products. This role blends hands-on manual testing with automation engineering and AI-assisted quality practices. If you're passionate about quality, automation-first thinking, and exploring how AI can transform testing, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create end-to-end test suites for consent flows, DSAR workflows, and privacy compliance scenarios.
- Build API test automation for REST endpoints and third-party integrations.
- Integrate AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) into QA workflows for test generation.
- Build autonomous testing pipelines using Claude Code and AI agents that generate, execute, and analyze tests.
- Embed automated tests into Azure DevOps Pipelines with fast feedback loops and quality gates.
- Conduct exploratory and manual testing for new features, complex edge cases, and regression cycles.
- Partner with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria and build testability into architecture.
- Ensure consent banners and plugins work correctly across browsers and hundreds of customer configurations.
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years in QA/test automation with hands-on framework development.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
- Deep experience with Playwright; familiarity with Cypress or Selenium also valued.
- API testing expertise including REST, OAuth2/JWT, and integration testing.
- CI/CD integration experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, or similar.
- Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser developer tools.
- Solid manual and exploratory testing skills—you know when automation isn't the answer.
- Experience or strong interest in AI coding tools, particularly Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
- Comfort with non-deterministic outputs and confidence-level testing.
- Self-starter who takes ownership, works independently, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience testing privacy/consent management or compliance software.
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy regulations.
